We had a lovely 6 day stay in this hotel. It is located at the 4th floor of the building. Reception staff are so friendly. They all speak English even if they are quite old. They helped us looking for the right bus route# when going to places and even warned us to be cautious with our belongings. They always smile and willing to help for whatever things you need. The hotel is also conveniently located near the Rome Termini Station which we often use when traveling by train to/from airport and train to/from Milan. Metro and bus station are also nearby so getting around with public transportation is very easy for us. Breakfast is the typical croissant or cakes (I think that they bought from bakery) with coffee or tea. There is a cereal and some toast, also butter, jams and yogurt. So if you are looking for continental or full English breakfast, this is not the place for you since they don't cook or make hot meals in there. Room is simple. Bed is quite firm so it was good. No view from our window but we didn't mind. There are a many restaurants around the area but we really like going to 1 Korean restaurant nearby (walking distance) the Basilica. The souvenir shop is even just beside the building. So over fall, this is such a good place if you are just looking for a place to have a quick breakfast/coffee and a place to stay to sleep after a long day of touring around Rome.

All tourist attractions are within walking distance. The train station is a stone's throw away from the hotel. There is a coop shop right across the main road and there are several mini grocery shops in the vicinity. There are numerous restaurants nearby and the main piazzas (Venezia and Navona) and shopping centers are easily accessible especially along Cavour, Corso and National Roads. The Vatican City can be reached by the underground trains, buses and on foot (walking allows you to see a number of beautiful basilicas all over the city). The station for hop-on-off double-decker buses is 3 minutes walk away from the hotel. Most importantly, security at Hotel Argentina is second to none. The staff at reception (three knowledgeable men) were very kind and offered helpful suggestions about sightseeing in Rome. They also provided a map of the city. Breakfast was continental and the food was very well presented. This is an extremely clean hotel. Highly recommended!

This is the best optiom if you want a place to sleep, take a shower. i really loved that the water was hot/warm. the room was also very warm because we had an air con and we could choose the temperature. the room is amazing, very clean, I felt like I stayed in apartment. The staff was always so kind and helpful 10/10 for them. The breakfast was very good, in my opinion. don’t take in consideration what other people say. It’s a very typical italian breakfast ( sweet pastry ) but they were delicious. Colosseum is very close (10 mins by walking) and again a big advantage that Termini station is 5 mins away by walk. also, Via Cavour is a nice street with many shops, cafes, gelato. i really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Argentina. I totally recommend it.

I have stayed here a few times. It is hugely convenient. It does not set out to be anything other than what it is. So it is not letting on to be historic, with great views, romantic terraces etc, It is on the 4th floor via an old-fashioned lift - the rooms are simple and the breakfast simple. But the lady in the breakfast bar is very nice and the men on the desk were efficient and polite. They are not setting out to be your best friend. So you get what you pay for, cheap but simple and efficient, clean and excellent location for transport and visiting the city.

The hotel is located close to the Roma Termini station with its Metro and Bus stations. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well a souvenir and snack store. Breakfast was the usual rolls, coffee and juices with some meats and cheese--very adequate. Rooms were quiet. Fourth floor location in an old building was just fine. The area appeared safe and secure. I would return again for a reasonable price.
